Smoking Stogie Cigar Reviews on Facebook
Cigar Reviews

As I was looking at Cigar sites around the net one day, it struck me that there was something missing in what I was seeing. A niche I could fill, if you will.

As a former photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram, I have worked in news and publications for years, and it only seemed natural to start a website dedicated to bringing readers the latest news and reviews of all things cigar related. Photography is a huge part of my life, and it will be a huge part of this site, as I believe that readers are looking for more detailed photos and analysis of the cigars they love to smoke.

I can't shake my journalist roots (even if I wanted too!), and that is why I have strict standards on this site. Three of the four contributors on this site have newspaper experience. We do not accept free cigars to review (other then preproduction sticks, which are not usually sold, and are not given a final score until the public production has hit the streets). Everything we review has been bought and paid for either with money or other cigars in trade. This keeps all the cigars reviewed on a level playing field.

As always, we are here for your comments or questions, feel free to contact any of us on the "Contact Us" page.
